Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA)
What is Heritage Impact Assessment?
Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) evaluates the potential impact of development projects on tangible and intangible cultural heritage — including historic buildings, archaeological sites, and traditional landscapes. PTT’s HIA consultants are Registered Conservators accredited by Jabatan Warisan Negara (JWN).
Our experts bring deep knowledge in archaeological heritage, architectural conservation, and cultural resource management, ensuring development projects comply with the National Heritage Act 2005.
-
Heritage Identification & Documentation
We conduct thorough surveys to identify and document all heritage assets within and adjacent to the project area, using both archival research and field investigation.
-
Impact Prediction & Significance Assessment
Our team evaluates the significance of identified heritage resources and predicts the magnitude of potential impacts from proposed development activities.
-
Conservation & Mitigation Strategies
We provide practical conservation recommendations and mitigation plans to minimise heritage loss and preserve cultural identity for future generations.
